Paper is a modified Minecraft server version that supports plugins, unlike Vanilla. It also uses CPU cores more efficiently through multithreading, which is why it is the default version in our plans.

It depends on player count and plugins or mods. As a modern guideline, 4 GB RAM is usually enough for Vanilla and Paper servers. If you run a modpack, the list above shows our recommended RAM. You can upgrade resources in management at any time.
In Minecraft server management, open the Files tab and go to the plugins folder in the root directory. Drag .jar plugin files from your computer into the browser window. Make sure the plugin supports your server version. This works only on Paper and Purpur versions.
In Minecraft server management, open Files. Drag your .jar file into the root directory, delete the existing server.jar file and rename your upload to server.jar. Return to management and restart the server. If it does not start, try changing the Java version.
Copy the alphabetic or numeric IP address from game server management. In Minecraft on your computer, choose Multiplayer, then Add Server at the bottom of the screen. Paste the full server address into Server Address with CTRL+V and press Done. Double-click your server in the list to connect.
